Jacqueline LeSage Krause


Jacqueline LeSage Krause is a principal at Jump Associates. She has deep expertise executing strategy and innovation in large corporations, having been the Vice President of Innovation & Corporate Venture Capital at The Hartford ($26b in revenue). Jacqueline founded and led the strategic innovation group that helped The Hartford get to the future faster by investing venture capital in start-ups and incubating new offerings and business models for consumers, small businesses, and large commercial accounts. Her team’s unique approach to combining incubation and investing received the 2011 Global Corporate Venturing award for Best Practices in Financial Services and was recognized in two recent books on corporate innovation. Jacqueline is a frequent speaker and author on corporate innovation and was an advisor to the National Venture Capital Association’s Corporate Venture Group. Earlier in her career, Jacqueline was a global management consultant with A.T. Kearney for 6 years in the US and China. Her work has emphasized foundational industries at the core of an economy, such as infrastructure, transportation, telecom, and financial services. She holds business degrees from both Wharton and Chicago Booth.
